Dawn Brown, MA, LPC, NCC (She/Her)
Dawn Brown earned her bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology as well as her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling, graduating with honors. Dawn is currently a Doctoral student in Counseling Education and Supervision and has been licensed since 2002 as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Dawn actively engages in educational opportunities and certifications with her most recent accomplishment of achieving the Telemental Health Counseling and Supervision certification.
Dawn is passionate about de-stigmatizing access to mental health care through educating others. Dawn enjoys music, travel, reading, listening to podcasts and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
Dawn feels that mental health content is a vital need and that accessing accurate information that is grounded in research is extremely important. Contributing to content that the public can access for reliable information is essential to the ongoing de-stigmatization of mental health care. Dawn is excited to continue her career as an advocate for access to mental health services, particularly those needing services that may not otherwise access them through her involvement with Betterhelp.com.
Dawn is also a Board Certified Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) offered through the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Dawn strives to contribute in a meaningful way to destigmatize mental health through access to resources.
