Janet Bellis, NCPS
About me
I am a pluralistic psychotherapist accredited to the National Counselling Society. With experience working for one one the country’s leading mental health charities. I have worked with clients presenting with a wide range of psychological and emotional difficulties including depression, anxiety, self esteem, assertiveness, relationship issues, physical and emotional abuse and bereavement.
As a pluralistic psychotherapist I work collaboratively with clients and believe there is no single approach to help clients with their issues. I therefore tailor my therapy approach to your individual needs. My therapy style will help you to investigate your fears that are holding you back from psychological freedom and help you acknowledge troublesome triggers and behaviour patterns. This will empower you to practise new behaviours and set goals to enable you to reach your potential and overcome any limitations.
I am warm, friendly and empathetic. I am non-judgemental and here to listen to you and cooperate with you fully. Once you have taken the first step, committed to this process and ready to explore the cause of your concerns, I am here to be with you on your journey to a more fulfilled life.

Janet really listens to your concerns and offers great advice and tools to cope, she clearly cares a lot about what she does and I really appreciate the help I have received. This was my first ever therapist and I was worried but I have been really happy and felt supported. Thank you Janet!
